About Me
I'm Gavin Chesman, I've been working within the IT industry for over 12 years but my interest in all things technological stretches much further. My roles have ranged from being a Network Manager within the Education sector to starting Humber IT Solutions who are a Managed Service Provider, where I implement and manage all things IT, for both schools and businesses.
In my spare time, I have completed BSc (Hons) Computing technologies via Teesside University through the Grimsby Institute University Centre. The modules that I have covered include Wide Area Networking (WAN), Programming (JAVA), Database and Website Development. I would like to continue my studies to gain vendor qualifications, such as Microsoft or Cisco, to help me continue my career in Network Infrastructure.
I can easily communicate technical information to non-technical people; I have a keen eye for detail and enjoy problem solving. All of these traits have helped me to complete all work to the highest standard.
